Increase in fixed pay by the state government by 'Diwali', electricity subsidy

The state government has once again recall the fixed payers. However, this time the government hasincreased the fixed pay of electricity subsidiaries. The state government has increased salary of electricity subsidy from Rs.2,500 to Rs 10,450 per month. 

This decision will affect the 7,000 employees of the state.The state government has increased the fixed pay ofelectric assistants operating in the power sector. Following the decision of the government, the salary of more than 7000 electric assistants will be increased in various categories.

The electricity subsidy payout has been increased from Rs.2,500 to Rs 10,450 per month.Earlier, during the assembly elections, the electricity subsidy fell against the government. All Akhil Gujarat Electricity Workers Union organized protestsat different places, taking the increase of the fixed salary of the electricity subsidiaries.Currently, electrical assistants perform duties in fourcadres. In this, 7000 employees of Electronic Assistant, Helper, Junior Assistant, Plant Aadient (Grade-1), Junior Engineer Cadre will get this benefit.
