After this decision, Deemed universities from the estimated 25,000 current pensioners and UGCs of Central Universities will benefit from 6000 to 18000 rupees. Along with this decision, 8 lakh teachers, 15 lakh non-teaching staff who have been retired from public universities and related colleges, will also get the benefits.
